Amorie ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. By using Amorie (the "App"), you agree to this Policy.

1) Who We Are & Contact Info

• Publisher: Individual developer via Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

2) What We Collect

• Account Data: Email and password (passwords are hashed via Firebase Authentication).

• User Content: Images and messages you upload or share (stored in Firebase services).

• Purchase Data: Subscription and in-app purchase information, managed via RevenueCat. Billing is processed by Apple (iOS In-App Purchases) and Google Play Billing (Android).

• Device/Diagnostics: Device model, OS version, crash logs, and usage diagnostics (via Firebase).

• Support Data: Information you provide when contacting us.

We do not directly store payment card data.

3) Why We Use Your Data

• Provide and operate Amorie.

• Manage subscriptions and entitlements.

• Store and display your content.

• Improve stability, security, and features.

• Communicate important updates.

• Meet legal and compliance obligations.

4) Legal Bases (GDPR, where applicable)

• Performance of contract (providing the App and features).

• Legitimate interests (security, analytics).

• Legal obligations (regulatory, tax).

• Consent (only where required for optional features).

5) Third-Party Processors

We use trusted providers:

• Firebase (Google LLC): Authentication, storage, analytics, crash reporting.

• RevenueCat: Subscription status, receipts, entitlements.

• Apple App Store (Apple Inc.): In-app purchase and subscription payments for iOS users.

• Google Play Billing (Google LLC): In-app purchase and subscription payments for Android users.

We do not sell your data.

6) Data Retention & Deletion

• Data is stored while your account is active.

• When you delete or reset your account, your personal data, images, and messages are deleted.

• Aggregated/anonymous data may be retained.

7) Children's Privacy

Amorie is not directed to children under 13. In the EEA/UK, the minimum age is 16.

We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover underage use, we will delete the data.

8) International Transfers

Data may be processed outside your country (e.g., U.S.). We apply appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

9) Your Rights

• Access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object.

• EU/EEA/UK (GDPR): Right to complain to your data authority.

• California (CCPA/CPRA): Right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" (we do not sell).

10) Security

We use hashed passwords, secure cloud infrastructure, and limited access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

11) Cookies & Tracking

• The mobile App does not use browser cookies.

• Firebase SDKs collect device/usage analytics as noted above.

12) Third-Party Links

We're not responsible for third-party sites linked from the App.

13) Changes

We may update this Policy. Updated versions will be posted in-app with an updated Effective Date.

Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: September 6, 2025

These Terms ("Terms") govern your use of Amorie. By downloading, installing, or using Amorie, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility

• Must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK).

• If under 18, you must have parental/guardian consent.

• You must comply with all local laws.

2) Account Registration & Security

• Register with a valid email and password (or sign-in provider).

• You're responsible for keeping credentials secure.

• Notify support@getamorie.app of unauthorized use.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

3) License

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Amorie for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or bypass security.

4) Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• Premium features require a subscription or purchase.

• Apple (iOS) and Google Play (Android) process all payments.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.

• Manage/cancel via your App Store or Google Play Store account settings.

• We do not process payments directly.

5) Refunds & Cancellations

• Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google under their store policies.

• We cannot provide refunds directly.

• Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play Store settings.

6) Availability & Downtime

We strive to keep Amorie available but may have outages or maintenance.

Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available". Downtime does not entitle refunds.

7) Inactivity

Inactive accounts (no login/use for 12 months) may be deactivated. We'll attempt to notify you before action.

8) User Content

• You own your content (images, messages).

• You grant us a license to store, process, and display it for operation of the App.

• You are responsible for your content.

• We may remove content violating these Terms or the law.

9) Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Violate laws, infringe rights, or harass others.

• Upload viruses or attempt to hack systems.

• Impersonate others or misuse the App.

10) Intellectual Property

• Amorie and all software, designs, logos, and trademarks remain our property.

• No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

11) Feedback

Suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation.

12) Disclaimer

Amorie is provided "as-is" and without warranties of merchantability, fitness, or non-infringement.

13) Limitation of Liability

• Our liability is capped at the greater of (a) amounts you paid in the past 12 months, or (b) $50 USD.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, losses, or damages arising from your use, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

15) Dispute Resolution & Class Action Waiver

• Informal resolution first via support@getamorie.app.

• If unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration (unless not permitted by law).

• You waive the right to participate in class actions.

16) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert your country/state]. Venue for disputes will be in [Insert your preferred city/state] unless otherwise required by law.

17) Force Majeure

Neither party is responsible for delays/failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, outages, war, etc.).

18) Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective once posted in-app. Continued use means acceptance.

19) Severability & Entire Agreement

• If a section is unenforceable, the rest remains valid.

• These Terms + Privacy Policy form the entire agreement.
